What we believe

One eternal, holy, loving, righteous, and merciful God, revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Old and New Testaments are received as God’s inspired Word and the authoritative rule for faith and practice, centered in Jesus Christ.

God created and sustains all things, made humanity in his image, hears prayer, and remains sovereign without being the author of sin.

Human beings were created for holiness but fell into sin and need the saving grace of God offered through Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is the one mediator, whose life, death, resurrection, and continuing intercession accomplish redemption.

Salvation is God’s gift, received through repentance and faith in Christ rather than earned by character, ceremony, or works.

The Holy Spirit convicts, transforms, guides, empowers, and helps believers persevere in faithful discipleship.

The church is a fellowship of believers gathered for worship, teaching, mutual care, accountability, ordinances, and mission.

Christ sends the church to proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, and minister to spiritual, physical, social, and emotional needs.

The church appoints servant-leaders to teach Scripture, shepherd the congregation, administer ordinances, and equip every member to use their gifts.

Water baptism is for believers who repent, confess faith in Christ, and commit themselves to faithful discipleship and the local church.

Bread and the cup remember Christ’s body and blood and express believers’ spiritual life, unity, fellowship, and hope in his return.

Practices such as feet washing, the holy kiss, and the right hand of fellowship express humility, service, cleansing, and Christian love.

Men and women are equal in Christ while being called to honor the confession’s understanding of distinct responsibilities and visible symbols of order.

Marriage is understood as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, with the home devoted to mutual faithfulness and the Christian nurture of children.

Following Jesus shapes conduct, speech, stewardship, recreation, appearance, and allegiance, calling believers away from sinful patterns.

Christians are called to truthfulness, transparency, simple affirmation rather than oaths, and fellowship grounded in Christ rather than secrecy.

Jesus’ example calls disciples to love without retaliation, renounce violence, seek reconciliation, and relieve human suffering.

Christians honor authorities, pay taxes, obey laws that do not conflict with God’s commands, pray for rulers, and maintain primary allegiance to Christ.

Jesus Christ will return, the dead will be raised, evil will be judged, and God will dwell with his people in the new heaven and new earth.
